Since the first release of the Prologue version (Ranges from versions D0.01 - D0.0x), they’ve been changes as the development went on. We’re getting close to 2015, so it’s a good idea for you to check out what’s next.
Milestones
You can see that whenever you install the game, or at the readme file that I refer to as “Prologue” underneath the game’s name. This shows the current Milestone the game is in. Each milestone contains a part of the main story and extra content. To make it more easy to understand:
Prologue:It’s a small sneak peek of the game. Only has the prologue of the game. Doesn’t have anything extra.
Disc 1: Includes the prologue and adds more content. Expands the main story.
Disc 2: Adds more content, complete story.
Beta: Even more content, mainly focuses on bug-fixing.
Here is the current timetable of subsequent releases:
Prologue (Alpha 0 / Demo / Vesion D0.0x) - Released
Disc 1 (Alpha 1 / Version D0.1x) - 2015
Disc 2 (Alpha 2 / Version D0.2x) - 2015
Beta (Version Ex.xx) - 2015?
Timetable not final.
I’d like to inform you that the letters near the version numbers show the production phase that the game is (more that at a later post).
Changes to the gameplay (some will be applied from the next update).
-Changes to the fields and dungenons.
As of D0.07, both in the field and on dungenons, all enemies are visible (except in some areas). I felt that the random encounters were a tad too annoying, plus I recived internal feedback for that, so it made for me better sense to do that. In addition, the following rules apply:
-In fields, all enemies dissapear until you reenter the map.
-In dungenons, all enemies will respawn after a set period of time. In some dungenons, enemies will chase you. An exception is applicable story wise.
-Skill Steal and Steal Items.
I can’t say much, since the game is in development and features can get broken, but the Steal skill will work and it’s also upgradeable. Mimic (Skill Steal) will have the same.
UI changes
-A small window now appears on the lower left corner of the screen to inform the player for changes (new objectives, found items etc.)
-Adjustments on fonts
Misc Changes
-Support for Windows XP.
-Availiability to the Steam Workshop?
Please note that they may change as time passes.
That’s all for now. What do you think?
More news coming soon…
